Cedric is on his first tee-ball baseball team. I took a bunch of photos from the opening ceremonies and his first game. His team is comprised of 5 and 6 year olds, so basically "seasoned" players from the year before and players who had a steep learning curve that first hour. At first all the boys wanted to do was run the bases. Cedric couldn't contain himself, he ran out to the centerfield fence and back several times. He was always the first to the dugout and on the field. Cedric was the definition of hustle because he was so excited to finally be part of a baseball team. He has always loved baseball and since he is a lefty, Jim is already eyeing potential positions as a MLB pitcher since lefty pitchers are always in demand. Anyway here are some of the photos from that first day.
Blake wants to be just like his brother. Here is a picture of Blake being the catcher. He looks like a natural too. Maybe Cedric and Blake will be a dynamic pitcher_catcher team. A Mom can dream.... :-)
